Jacob Custos is a playable character in The Quarry, wherein you will make decisions to move the game forward.
Jacob is important among the nine important characters. Working at Hackett’s Quarry summer camp, he constitutes as a counselor along with nine others.
Many people find him appealing, and he wants to have a wonderful experience with his other counselors.
He’s described as a conceited jock with an arrogant demeanor who can come out as boastful. His enthusiastic, boisterous, and captivating attitude has the potential to create a lot of unforgettable events.
He can go crazy at times, and his personality and constant pretentiousness can result in a lot of risky situations. It can be assessed by the way he sabotages the van so that he can spend more time winning the heart and attention of his crush Emma.
Can You Save Jacob In The Quarry?
Yes, you can save Jacob in the Quarry. You can expect quite a few instances wherein you will be posed with difficult choices that can save or kill Jacob.
The life of Jacob will usually depend on the decisions taken by Abi, Ryan, Emma, and Laura.
The Quarry is designed in a way wherein one decision leads to a lot of different conclusions, which will be revealed later on as you proceed. This is the thrilling part that keeps the player active and interested throughout the game.
How To Save Jacob In The Quarry?
There are several chapters in which the player must make the proper option in order to protect Jacob in the Quarry. The chapters along with the decisions are shown below.
Chapter 3
In this chapter, Jacob will be seen sitting around the docks with Emma. Herein you will hear Abigail’s screams coming from the direction of the woods.
While Abigail’s screams fill the air, you will witness a rotator arm of steel in the water. You have to choose between saving Abigail or collecting the arm.
If you dive in for the arm, you will be entrapped by the hunters. To save Abigail, you will have to play Quick time events and have success.
Chapter 4
In this chapter, the group when will be out together outside, they will hear some noises. This noise is coming from the bushes.
You will have the option of shooting the unknown in the bushes. However, choose not to shoot as this will be Jacob. You will face such an event twice but resist shooting both times.
Chapter 6
The duo of Emma and Jacob will reconcile in this chapter before the monster strikes, as he continues to roam the forests in his underpants in quest of Emma.
You think Jacob will survive if he hides from the monster, but that will not be the ultimate savior. Jacob will then be captured in a bear trap while effectively evading the beast.
Make the decision to Pry. When you set the trap off, Jacob will be carried off to the Hacketts’ house.
Chapter 8
Ryan and Laura will come across electric traps with Jacob and a beast confined in their own prisons while exploring the underground and entering the lower floors of Hackett’s house.
Stop Laura from firing at the creature and refuse to open the cage. Before completing this segment, you will have to make efforts to help Jacob.
To free Jacob from suffering his horror dreams, just pick Breakers 1 and 2, now continue, and afterward select Breakers 2 and 3.
