How To Fix Saluspa Error Code E02

Have you ever encountered an E02 error code on your Saluspa inflatable hot tub?

If so, you’re not alone. The E02 error code is a common issue that Saluspa hot tub owners may face, and it can be frustrating when you’re looking forward to a relaxing soak.

But don’t worry!

In this blog post, we’ll discuss what the Saluspa E02 error code means, why it may occur, and how to fix it.

What Is Saluspa Error Code E02?

Saluspa Error Code E02 indicates that there is a problem with the water flow in the hot tub.

Specifically, the E02 error code may appear if the hot tub’s water pump is not functioning correctly, or if there is a blockage in the hot tub’s plumbing system.

When the E02 error code is displayed, the hot tub may not heat up properly, or it may not function at all.

How To Fix Saluspa Error Code E02

Fix 1: Clean Dirty Filter

One of the most common causes of the E02 error code is a dirty filter. Over time, filters can become clogged with dirt, debris, and other particles, which can restrict water flow and cause the E02 error code to appear.

To fix the E02 error code on Saluspa, you need to thoroughly clean the filter.

To clean the filter, you can use a filter cleaner or soak it in water and white vinegar.

Make sure you install it properly after being cleaned. Wash that rogue off every day as Bestway suggests.

You’ll need to replace the filter or clean it filters that are clogged with slime and algae.

Fix 2: Check The Appropriate Water Level

Another common cause of the E02 error code is an incorrect water level. Make sure that the water level is appropriate.

Put water as per the instruction. Don’t let the level be below. The pump may overheat if the water level is too low, which can create an error code.

Fix 3: Change Your Old Filter

After being for more than two or three weeks, the paper-based material gets moist and clumps together, considerably decreasing water flow. Every two to three weeks, you should replace them, even though they don’t seem to be dirty.

To confirm that this is the problem, remove the filter, turn on the pump, and place your hand over the return inlet to feel the water jet.

The filter is the sole thing stopping the water from flowing if disconnecting the filter causes it to stop flowing right away.

Fix 4: Check The Air Leaks

Another issue that can cause the E02 error code is air leaks.

To identify the air leaks, once all other primary sources of the air have been found, please turn on the pump and listen for air moving through it (it sounds irregular and gurgles, like when you first start garbage disposal with a big chunk of food).

Also, you can look for bubbles EXITING the egg behind connector C through the tiny clear piece of the hose.

You can gently turn the “T” connector (B) entering into the egg by lifting or lowering the side hose.

If the air noise increases, one of the two seals is damaged. (If you don’t, you’re responsible for maintaining this connector.)

Air leaks can create some unusual bubble sounds in the pump. To fix the error detach the bottom panel. Then remove the hose pipe. Heat both ends of the tube using a drier.

Put both ends back on the external connector, the pump, and the hose clamps behind the fitting’s barb.

Fix 5: Connect With The Proper Hose

You may also check the hose size of the Saluspa. If the hose is short then it can create a problem. In that case, measure the appropriate size and replace the hose.
