When the red light of Nespresso Vertuo is blinking it means that there is a used coffee pod in the used capsule container.
But if the red light blinks twice and then turns into a green light then it means that some kind of error is there in the special function of the machine.

How To Reset The Red Light On My Nespresso Vertuo?
To reset the red light in your Nespresso Verytuo you will have to switch off the machine and then unplug the power cord from the power supply port.
Then wait for fifteen to twenty minutes to make the machine cool down. Now plug it in again and turn it on by pressing the lever down.

To fix the redlight blinking twice in your Nespresso Vertuo machine and then going steady green you have to go over to the menu option and push the lever down for the function that you want to do.
- You can press it once to descale.
- Press it twice to empty the system.
- And press it three times to reset to factory settings.
When you want to exit the menu you can press the lever and the button together.
Your Nespresso Vertuo machine should not be showing red blinking lights anymore after this.
