An EPFO member can check their PF balance by giving a missed call on the number 011-22901406. The number used for the missed call has to be registered with the UAN.

An EPFO member can check their PF balance by calling on the toll-free number 1800118005. Use only registered mobile numbers for the call.
EPFO Balance Check Whatsapp Number
For checking the provident fund balance through the Whatsapp number, follow the following steps.
- Open the website of EPFO.
- Click on the Whatsapp button on the right side of the webpage.
- Select the regional office number and then save it into your mobile phone.
- Send the query to the number. The EPFO will send the balance of the information.
EPFO Balance Check Through SMS
The members of the EPFO who have an activated UAN number can check their balance by sending an SMS to their number. Send SMS EPFOHO <UAN> to 7738299899.
For Specific languages, send SMS EPFOHO <UAN> <LAN> to 773299899.

There is no USSD for checking the provident fund of the employees.

The employees can use the Umang / EPFO mobile application for checking the balance of the provident fund. On the application, the employee can experience various services of the EPFO.

The employees who do not have any registered mobile number to the UAN can check their balance through the EPFO portal.
Steps to Check EPFO Balance Check Through Website:
- Open the EPFO login page for employers by clicking on the ‘For employees‘ tab.
- Here, you can see the ‘Member passbook,’ under the services; login into the EPFO website by clicking on it.
- Now you can check the balance of all the EPFO accounts.
