The “Something went wrong” error during Valorant Premier phone verification is often caused by an existing association between your phone number and another Riot Games account.

This issue can be resolved by unlinking your phone number from the other account before attempting verification in Valorant Premier.

How To Fix “Something Went Wrong” In Valorant Premier Phone Verification

To fix “Something went wrong” in Valorant Premier Phone Verification, Log out of Valorant >> Unlink your existing phone number from the associated Riot account >> Link your phone number to your Valorant account by launching Valorant.

Step 1: Log Out Of Your Valorant Account

To begin the process, you need to log out of your Valorant account. Follow these steps:

1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Valorant client.
2. Select “Exit to Desktop”.
3. Click “Sign out & Exit”.

You should now be logged out of your Valorant account.

Step 2: Unlink Your Phone Number From Your Riot Games Account

In this step, you’ll remove the link between your phone number and your Riot Games account. There are two methods to do this:

Using Riot Player Support

1. Open your browser and visit the Riot Games Support website.
2. Choose request type: “Account Management, Data Requests, or Deletion”
3. Login into Your Riot account
4. Now, fill all the details & submit the tickets

Using League Of Legends Client

1. Launch the League of Legends client.
2. Click on “Settings”.
3. Click on “Delete number” and then “Continue”.
4. Enter the code sent to your phone and click “Send”.
5. Your phone number should now be removed from your Riot Games account.

Step 3: Link Your Phone Number To Your Valorant Account

Now that your phone number is unlinked from any Riot Games account, you can link it to your Valorant account.

1. Launch Valorant and click on “Premier Open Beta”.
2. Click on “Verify”.
3. Enter your country code and phone number in the designated fields.
4. Click “Confirm”.
5. Enter the verification code sent to your phone and click “Confirm” again.
