Google Meet is most popular video conferencing tool which you can join using any contemporary web browser or download the app to get started.
A meeting on Google Meet can be joined by anybody who receives an invitation or you can start your own meeting and can share the meeting like with others.
Some functionalities, however, are exclusively accessible to Google Workspace clients.
However, Some peoples facing issues where they are not able to join meeting on Google Meet.
When they click on meeting link to join, they are getting error “failed to join meeting“.
How To Fix Failed To Join Meeting On Google Meet?
Make sure you are signed into the Google Account that you were invited with before joining.
Also take note that when accessing meeting links given through a third-party app, the Meeting will be opened using your most recent user account. You may switch to another account on the device to attend the meeting before you do so.
You must continue using the most recent versions of the Gmail, Calendar, and Google Classroom apps.

- Sign out of all Google accounts.
- Completely close out of browser.
- Open the browser >> opened google meet and sign back through mail in which you got meeting invite.
If this doesn’t help then switch to another browser and check you are able to join the meeting or not.
If you are on mobile either Android or iPhone then
- Sign out of all Google accounts.
- Completely close the Google Meet app.
- Open the Google Meet app >> sign back in through mail in which you got meeting invite..
If above fixes doesn’t work then there is some bug/ glitch in Google Meet.
In this case you can’t do anything.
Just wait till the bug is resolved by Google Meet team.
