To make transactions from the Central Bank of India account, customers need to register a beneficiary first. For every online fund transfer including RTGS and NEFT, a beneficiary is mandatory. 

For any reason, if you want to delete beneficiaries, CBI customers can consider the following guidebook. Beneficiaries can be deleted using CBI Net Banking and CBI Mobile Banking (CENT Mobile).

Delete Beneficiary In Central Bank Of India Using CBI Net Banking

Steps to delete beneficiary using CBI Net Banking:

Step #1: Go to the official website of the Central Bank of India Netbanking.

Step #2: Provide login details to the website; your username and password.

Step #3: From the menu, click on the “Fund Transfer” option.

Step #4: Now, select the “Manage beneficiary” option. The website will ask for the “Fund Transfer Type”.

Step #5: If your registered payee is an account holder of the bank, then choose “CBI account” or if the registered payee does not have a CBI account then choose “Other Bank Account ”. 

Step #6: The next window will list all the registered beneficiaries

Step #7: Choose the beneficiary you want to delete and click on them.

Step #8: Click on the “delete” button. Your beneficiary will be deleted using CBI Net banking.

Steps to delete beneficiary using CBI Mobile Banking(CENT Mobile):

Step #1: Open the CBI mobile banking application, CENT Mobile.

Step #1: To log in to the app, provide your username and password.

Step #2: From the menu, click on the “Fund Transfer” option.

Step #3: On the next screen, tap on the “Manage Beneficiaries” option. 

Step #4: Now, choose your payee transfer type. If your payee is an account holder of the bank, then choose “CBI account” or if the payee does not have a CBI account then choose “Other Bank Account”. 

Step #5: To delete the registered beneficiary, tap on the beneficiary.

Step #6: Choose the “delete” option and confirm your choice.

Step #7: Your beneficiary will be deleted using the CENT mobile banking application.
