  • Confirm the person you want to add is either your spouse, domestic partner, or a family member over the age of 18 and lives at the same address as you.
  • Ensure the additional member has a valid government-issued photo ID that proves they reside at the same address.
  • Visit the membership counter at your local Costco warehouse together with the person you want to add.
  • Have the additional member provide their government-issued photo ID to the Costco membership clerk for verification.
  • Fill out any necessary membership forms provided by the Costco membership clerk.
  • The Costco membership clerk will take a photo of the additional member.
  • The additional member will be issued their own Costco membership card, which they can use immediately.
