- Approved timings (after 9:00 p.m.):- SBI will add a beneficiary the next day after 8 a.m.
SBI Beneficiary Activation Added Offline Via Bank
If customers request a beneficiary in the branch, the bank will activate the beneficiary instantly.
How Much Time Does It Take To Add Beneficiaries In SBI?
SBI customers can add and approve only one beneficiary in the State Bank of India. Each category has a limit of one beneficiary in a day. If a beneficiary is approved between 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., it will be activated within 4 hours. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait till the next morning.
Limitations For Activation Of A Beneficiary
- If the branch activates the beneficiary, bank customers can send an amount of ₹ 1,00,000 in the first 4 days after activation.
- Branched-approved beneficiaries can be activated instantly. However, other means such as OTP approval or YONO approval can take up to 4 hours or even on the next day.
- Money can only be transferred to a beneficiary after the activation of the request.
- Customers can add only three beneficiaries on a single calendar day.
- To transfer funds instantly, customers have two choices; IRATA approval or branch approval.
