Step 1: Before making changes to the wallpaper files, ensure that the System Settings app is closed to prevent any conflicts.
Step 2: Open Finder, click on “Go” in the menu bar, then select “Go to Folder…” or press Shift + Command + G. Enter the path /Library/Application Support/com.apple.idleassetsd and press “Go” to access the folder where the dynamic wallpapers are stored.
Step 3: Locate the Wallpaper Movie Files In the com.apple.idleassetsd folder, you will find multiple subfolders. Open these folders to locate the QuickTime movie files (.mov) that correspond to the dynamic wallpapers.
Step 4: If you want to make sure you’re deleting the correct wallpaper, you can open the .mov files in QuickTime Player. Select the file and press Space for a quick preview or open it in QuickTime Player to view details like encoding and resolution.
