STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle app with Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements. Users equipped with NFT Sneakers – walk, jog or run outdoors to earn GST, which can be used to level up and mint new Sneakers.
Player can choose to lease or sell their NFT Sneakers on the in-app Marketplace; users’ GST earnings are stored in the in-app Wallet, which has a built-in Swap function.
How To Get STEPN Sneakers?
Steps to Get STEPN Sneakers:
1. Install STEPN App In Your Phone
First Install STEPN app in your phone from official Website using this url. STEPN provide both app for both Android and iPhone.
2. Sign Up Into STEPN App
Now, Sign up into STEPN app using email address. You will get verification code , enter this verification code into STEPN app to proceed.
3. Create New Wallet
On the top right corner, click on the wallet icon. Now Create wallet. The app will generate 12 word secret phrase. Store this phrase at safe location and don’t share this with anyone.
This 12 word secret phrase will be used to login into wallet and if your forgot your password, it will help to recover that password.
4. Transfer SOL Into Wallet
Now, transfer the SOL into in app wallet to purchase NFT Sneakers in the marketplace. Always keep some SOL advance into your in app wallet which will be used to pay gas fee in the wallet.
5. Buy Sneakers
Now its time to explore in app marketplace and check which sneaker you want to buy. You can also use filter for type of preference to look sneakers.
After the finalising the sneaker , click on that and do payment in SOL. Make sure you have enough SOL in wallet for both purchasing and gas fee.
Congratulation! All set. After the purchase of a Sneaker, energy will restore at a rate of 25% every 6 hours (Fixed at AEDT Time 00:00, 06:00, 12:00, 18:00) You can start your STEPN journey immediately after the first 25% energy restoration.

STEPN Sneaker Types
There are four types of Sneakers: Walker, Jogger, Runner and Trainer.

STEPN Sneaker Quality
There are five Sneaker qualities. When a Sneaker is minted, the value of each Attribute will be chosen at random within the min. and max. values according to Sneaker quality. As such, even Sneakers of the same quality may have vastly different Attribute distributions.

STEPN Sneaker Level
Users can level up their Sneakers by burning GST. Each level-up takes a fixed time to complete, which increases along with the amount of GST required according to the Sneaker level.
This process can be speed up by using even more GST.Additionally, GMT will also be required to level a Sneaker to Level 29 and 30.
Upon level-up, users will attain 4 – 12 additional Attribute points to assign according to their Sneaker quality.

At max level, user need to choose between earning GST or GMT. Switching between GST/GMT earning is allowed, but will be subject to a cooldown duration.
