What Is Robinhood?
Robinhood is a mobile finance app for both Android and IOS. The app allows users to buy and sell stocks, ETF’s, options, and cryptos without any commission fees.

So what is the process of reactivating a Robinhood account? Before we begin, it’s important to note that there are 2 types of locked accounts:
Types Of Locked Account In Robinhood
Type 1: User-Initiated Account Lock
User-Initiated Account Lock occurs when the user enables the account security features or the account is compromised. The user will need to remove 2FA and change their password before reactivating this type of account.
Type 2: Developer Initiated Account Lock
Developer Initiated Account Lock happens when there are violations of “Terms of Use” and “Privacy Policy” or due to suspicious activity detected on your account. For this type of account, the user needs to submit a request for reactivation and provide additional documents.
Here we help users that have had their Robinhood accounts locked due to suspicious activity (Type 2) and require further review from developers before they can reaccess it.
