Why Is Starfield Vasco Not Shooting?

Starfield Vasco Not Shooting

Some of the reasons why Vasco is not shooting could be that you have not equipped him with the correct ammunition, the game files have gotten corrupted, the ammo isn’t the laser type that he uses, and there could be a bug in the system of Starfield.

Vasco shoots lasers from his chest and thus will need laser-type ammo to shoot. In case you haven’t put laser-type ammo in his inventory the chances are high that he will never shoot and only stand there passively during a fight.

There could be a bug in the system of Strarfield as several players have reported that could make your Vasco not shoot even when you have given him the correct ammo for his inventory.

Another reason could be that your Starfoelfd game file has gotten corrupted and that is why Vasco is not able to shoot as the files are not responding or is stopping the gameplay of that portion of Strarfoeld.

Whatever the reason is you will be able to fix this issue by going through the fixes section below.

How To Fix Starfield Vasco Not Shooting?

1. Use 3KV LRZ CARTRIDGE

You can Place a “3KV LRZ CARTRIDGE” ammunition on Vasco’s inventory and then equip him and then unequip a weapon on his menu by using the Y button.

This will reset your Vasco and he will be able to shoot again. Vasco doesn’t need a gun however he will need ammo to shoot and players have found that 3KV LRZ CARTRIDGE works best for him.

2. Use Both Types Of Laser Ammo

Put both laser type ammo to fix Vasco not shooting in Starfield

Another fix that you can try is to use both types of laser ammo and see whether Vasco is now able to shoot.

You can put both the laser-type ammo in his inventory, 1.5 and 3kv laser and now check whether Vasco starts to shoot.

Many players have reported that after putting both laser-type ammo in his inventory Vasco was able to shoot.

He doesn’t use a normal gun but shoots lasers from his chest so putting laser-type ammo in his inventory could be the best possible solution when he is not shooting.

3. Restart Starfield

As an alternative fix, you can exit the game and then restart it after some time has passed when you are unable to fix the phased time bug in Starfield.

Keep on checking for an update and install it as soon as it is available and you will be able to use phased time power on Starfield without getting any issues.
