“MetaMask encountered an error due to reaching a storage limit” error message occurs when you have stored or have access to a large number of cryptocurrencies, tokens and NFTs on your MetaMask or other crypto wallet apps.
It is a common issue faced by many people and unfortunately, there is no fix or troubleshooting method available. MetaMask is still working on finding a way to resolve this issue.
When you encounter this message, you will also be asked to reinstall MetaMask on your mobile phone as your data has been destroyed due to excess stored files (token, coins and NFTs).
You must reinstall the MetaMask wallet and reset it (you cannot skip this method).
Do not worry if you see your account balance as zero and all your tokens have disappeared, as your crypto tokens and coins are still available in the chain and you can use the wallet to access them.
