From there, get the right dectus medallion. On the way, you have to fight mini-bosses and other enemies. The path won’t be that easy.
Step 3: Look For The Second Part
Once done, you have to go to Fort Height, present on the eastern edge of the Mistwood region of Limgrave. After you have found out both the parts of the medallion, you need to activate them(grand lift of dectus)
Step 4: Activate The Medallions
After that, get yourself to the top of the Grand lift. You can also activate the medallions from the bottom of the Grand Lift.
Once you reach the top or bottom of the grand lift, the medallions will be activated.
Step 5: Go To Redmane Castle
Next, go to Cealid(south eastern region of Cealid). You will see a huge stone which is known as the teleportation stone, which will be right in front of the Impassable Great bridge.
You have to make use of the teleportation stone to get to Redmane Castle.
Step 6: Talk To The NPC’s Soldier
Lastly, you will see a group of NPCs in the castle. You have to talk to the head soldier(he’s wearing some weird pants), who will be standing at the top of a platform.

What To Do Before The Festival In Elden Ring
Prior to the festival in Elden ring, you have to meet two significant members who will be there in the festival waiting. They are the wolf(“blaidd”) and the warrior jar (“Alexander”). They are not easy to find. You have to keep looking.
In case it takes too much time to find them, just go around the Redmane castle, and before the castle, there will be a dungeon filled with the Lion Misbegotten warrior and crucible knight.
In addition, you can also claim the redmane castle walls from the southeastern cliffs. You can kill the enemies and loot; however, this won’t let you kill Radahn until you initiate the festival.

When you enter the castle, you will see Alexander the jar, a maiden, the wolf boy, and a couple of ghost folks in the plaza.
Talk to the man who’s standing on the top and then move towards the back of the castle, cross the bridge and you will reach a beach. Now, you will again see a portal enter through it to face Radahn on the battlefield.

The festival starts when you trigger the Radahn festival in the Elden ring. Without triggering the festival, you will not encounter any festivals taking place by themselves.
You have to take a long way on your horse, and then via the Altus Plateau, you have to get the two parts of the Medallion and then activate them to reach the Redmane castle, where you will be able to see the festival has started. There is no skipping the Altus plateau if you want to trigger the great festival in the Elden ring.
Note: To activate the medallions, join both halves(left and right) by going to the top between the Liurnia lakes and Altus Plateau. You will find an option to assemble them. As soon as you activate, you may have to face two foes, and be well equipped.

Way 2: The Ranni’s Questline

Step 1: Go To Northern Liurnia
Open your Elden ring game, and from the maps, locate the Liurnia region and activate(complete) the Dungeon named Caria Manor.
You will fight some enemies and if you want you can collect some treasury items.
Step 2: Enter Ranni’s Tower
Next, completing the dungeon will help you with the rise of three witches. You have to go to the west area and enter the tower, which is the Ranni’s rise tower.
Step 3: Talk To Ranni
After that, move all the way up(to the top) of the tower, where you will find Ranni. Talk to her, and she will tell you to find the “lost treasure of Nokron,” and then Ranni will tell you to talk to three NPC, Blaidd, Selvius, and lji.
Step 4: Selvius And Blaidd
Once done, when you move out of Ranni’s rise tower, you will find one by one the NPC. Firstly you will encounter Selvius, who will tell you to meet Blaidd, and then he will send you back to Selvius’s rise. Selvis will then tell you that Sellen has good knowledge about Radahn.
Meanwhile, you will unlock three quest lines while you talk to Selvius and blaidd.
Step 5: Defeating Radahn Is The Key
Sellen will tell you that defeating Radahn will unlock the Nokron quest. Knowing this, search for Blaidd again, and he will tell you that he will be there at the festival fighting Radahn alongside.
Step 6: Redmane Castle
From the Impassable Great Bridge, you can use the portal to teleport yourself to the Redmane castle(you have successfully started the festival).
This is a direct path you can take without fighting and encountering numerous enemies, unlike the Altus Plateau path.

Elden Ring Radahn Festival NPCs
There are around eight NPC (non-played characters) in the Elden ring’S Radahn Festival. They all have gathered to fight(alongside) the Starscourage Radahn. You have to summon them on the battlefield to fight Radahn.
Elden Ring NPCs gathered in the festival are as follows:
- Iron Fist Alexander (the jur guy)
- Blaidd(the wolf guy)
- Finger Maiden Therolina(the priest woman in a white attire)

Elden Ring Festival Not Starting
Elden Ring festival will not start until and unless you activate the grand lift of Dectus. Solely activating them will not trigger the festival wholly, you have to kill the enemies on the way.
In addition, if you have taken the Ranni’s quest line, you have to speak to all the three NPCs and make sure the last NPC should be Sellen, whose last words(the star will fall when Radahn dies) will guide you to the Redmane castle.
Your portal may not be activated for your Radahn festival if you have not slained these characters or met them, do not miss out following the given points:

- Meet the wolf woman(Mrs. Blaidd) standing near the portal.
- Go to the Grand lift of Dectus to activate the medallions.
- Save the jar guy(Alexander) and wait outside the Radahn castle till the morning(waiting outside the castle is optional).
Before following any steps, find Blaidd and talk to him regardless of which path you have opted for to start the Radahn’s festival.
Where Are The Festival Grounds In Elden Ring?
There is only one festival in the Elden Ring, that is Radahn’s festival, so therefore the festival ground you are looking forward to is via the Redmane Castle.
Radahn’s castle is located in the southern area of the Caelid region. Reaching the castle is not that easy.
You have to kill mini-bosses on the path and get the dectus to activate the Grand Lift of dectus passing through the site of Lost Grace.
