Spotify Time Capsule 2024 is a new in-app feature that allows you to create a personalized playlist of your favorite songs and lock them away in a virtual “time capsule” until January 2024.

How To Get Spotify Time Capsule 2024?

Step 1: Update Your Spotify Mobile App
Before you can create a Playlist in a Bottle, you’ll need to make sure you’re using the latest version of the Spotify mobile app.
To do this, simply visit your app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and check for updates.
Install any available updates before proceeding to the next step.
Step 2: Visit The Spotify Playlist In A Bottle URL
Once you’ve updated your app, visit spotify.com/playlistinabottle from your mobile device.
This is the website where you can create your personalized playlist.
Step 3: Select Your Time Capsule
On the Playlist in a Bottle website, you’ll see a number of different time capsule options to choose from.
These include a bottle, jean pocket, gumball machine, lunch box, and teddy bear. Select the time capsule that best reflects your personality and style.
Step 4: Add Songs To Your Playlist
After you’ve chosen your time capsule, you’ll be asked to select songs to add to your playlist.
You’ll see a series of song-inspired prompts, such as
- “A song you need to hear live in 2023”
- “A song that reminds you of your favorite person.”
- “A song you’re going to kiss someone to this year”
Simply tap on the prompts to add songs to your playlist. You can add as many songs as you’d like.
Step 5: Digitally Seal Your Playlist
When you’re done adding songs to your playlist, tap the “Done” button.
You’ll then be able to digitally seal your playlist and send it off.
Step 6: (Optional) Share Your Playlist On Social Media
If you’d like to share your playlist with friends, you can tap the “Share” button to create a personalized card featuring your playlist.
You can then share the card on social media using the hashtag #PlaylistInABottle.
This allows you to share your music tastes with friends and discover new music through the playlists of others.
Step 7: Wait For January 2024
Your playlist will be locked in your time capsule until January 2024.
You’ll receive a notification from Spotify reminding you to open your “time capsule” and revisit the music you selected one year prior.
Please note that “Playlist in a Bottle” is only available until January 31st and is offered in a number of markets around the world for both free and premium users on iOS and Android devices.
