Ryan McHenry, a Vine user, started posting a series of videos on April 22nd, 2013 titled “Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.”
The videos show several screen projections of Canadian actor Ryan Gosling in dramatic acting sequences, with the filmmaker eventually reaching for his bowl of cereal.
Since many people are just now discovering about it again this year, the old joke is making fans laugh once again.
A number of YouTube channels and media sites created their own collection of the actor’s footage as a result of the meme’s immense popularity. Ryan even pays tribute to the well-known meme maker after his unexpected passing.
According to reports, McHenry passed away in May 2015 from cancer, and The Notebook actor remembered him by eating his cereal.
McHenry went away at the age of only 27. According to reports, he received a bone cancer diagnosis in 2013.
After that Ryan Gosling also tweets about this and wrote “My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry’s family and friends. Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way.“
