1. Check Your Installation Location
To make sure the Mod Manager works well, keep it in the same folder as your Baldur’s Gate 3 game files.
The location can vary by platform, but it’s often found in this folder on Windows:
C:\Users[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate 3\Mods
2. Check Your Mod Load Order
If your mods are not opening into the game, you may need to adjust your load order.
After adjusting the load check if the issue of the BG3 mod manager is not opening.
Here are the extended steps to address the issue:
- Open the “modsettings.lsx” file in the “AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public” directory and note its content when mods fail to load.
- Use Vortex’s “Disabled” button to remove all Vortex-installed mods from the “AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate 3\Mods” folder.
