Fix: Apex Legends Not Working

Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have released Apex Legends, a free-to-play battle royale-hero shooting game.

It was published in February 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, in March 2021 for Nintendo Switch, and in March 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Some players reported that they are not able to play Fall Guys or Fall Guys not working. Some players not able to play on Xbox or PS4 also.

So, in this article, we will discuss why Fall Guys not working and how to fix it.

Why Apex Legends Not Working?

Apex Legends not working because Apex Legends server is down or due to some corrupted files.

There might be chances that Apex Legends game version is outdated.

How To Fix “Apex Legends Not Working”?

Fix 1: Check Apex Legends Server Is Up Or Not

If Apex Legends Not Working then first thing you have check Apex Legends Server is Up or Not. If Apex Legends Server is Down then you will not able to play Fall Guys.

If Apex Legends Server is Down then you can’t do anything. Just wait till Apex Legends server up.

Fix 2: Verify Your System Meets The Requirement To Run Apex Legends

To get the most out of Apex Legends, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. Check below system requirement to run Apex Legends:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7.
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor.
  • RAM: 6GB.
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7730.
  • GPU RAM: 1 GB.
  • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 22 GB of free space.

Fix 3: Restart Your PC

If Apex Legends Not Working then you have to restart your PC. First close the game then restart your PC and then Launch the Apex Legends Again. it will fix Apex Legends issue.

If Apex Legends still not working then try other fixes.

Fix 4: Update Graphic Card Driver To Latest Version

When your graphics game card driver is outdated, it is prone to be corrupted and damaged. This will also create problems while you launch the Apex Legends. 

Go to the Windows button and click on “task manager,” tap on “Device Manager,” then double click on the option “Display Adapters.” 

You will get a pop-up box. Tap on ” Update Driver” after that, click on “Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.”

Check if Apex Legends working or not. If Apex Legends still not working then try other fixes.

Fix 5: Play The Apex Legends As An Administrator 

If your game falls short of administrative needs, then this fix is apt to troubleshoot the problem. On the shortcut version of Apex Legends on the desktop, right-click on it a pop menu will appear to click on “Properties.”

After that, you will see a list of options, tap on “Run Compatibility Troubleshooter”, move the cursor down, and then click on the tab “Run this program as an Administrator.” 

Lastly, tap on Apply and then click on OK. Try accessing the game and see if it works. 

Check if Fall Guys working or not. If fall Guys still not working then try other fixes.

Fix 6: End Background Tasks Related To Apex Legends

The background running apps may decrease the efficiency of the Fall Guys game. When you have too many large backgrounds running tasks related to Apex Legends. As a result, you cannot load up the game.

So, first close all task related to Apex Legends from Task Manager one be one and relaunch the Apex Legends.

Check if Apex Legends working or not. If Apex Legends still not working then try other fixes.

Fix 7: Uninstall And Reinstall Apex Legends

In case the above fixes don’t work, you can simply uninstall the Fall Guys and then reinstall it after some time.

Go to Control panel, find Apex Legends and origin >> Right click on both one by one >> Uninstall Both.

After uninstalling, first restart the PC then install Apex Legends and origin again. it will fix the Apex Legends issue.

Fix 8: Try To Repair Apex Legends In Origin

If Apex Legends not working then you can try to repair Apex Legends in Origin. It will fix the issue and Apex Legends will work fine.

Steps to Repair Apex Legends in Origin:

Step 1: Open the Origin Client

Step 2: Go to “My Game Library”

Step 3: Now, Go to Apex Legends and right click on it then click on Repair

Step 4: Follow the Instruction mentioned on screen.

Step 5: After following all instruction, restart your system.

Step 6: Now, Run Apex Legends and check working fine or not.
