Fix 1: Install Nvidia Drivers Version Below Or Above 526.47
- Go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/.
- Now, Either download latest version which is higher then 526.47 or check for version below 526.47
- Tap on “Download” button and After that installation process will begin.
- Tap on “Custom (Advanced)”.
- Do “Perform a clean installation”.
- Now, Follow all the on-screen instructions
- After that Launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Fix 2: Allow MW2 Game In Window Defender
- Go to Window Settings
- Go to Privacy & Security
- Now, Go to Windows Security
- After that select Virus & threat protection
- Select Manage ransomware protection
- After that Allow an app through Controlled folder access
- Tap on Add an allowed app
- Browse all apps and add all .exe app including cod.exe in Controlled folder access.
