Hide A New Listing In Facebook Marketplace

Step 1: Go to your Feed and then click on Marketplace in the left Menu.

Step 2: Click on the Plus symbol to create a new listing.

Step 3: Noe, select Item for Sale.

Step 4: Enter the item information.

Step 5: Toggle on the Hide from Friends option and your listing is now hidden from your friends on Facebook.

Hide An Already Existing Listing

Step 1: Go to your Feed and then click on Marketplace in the left Menu.

Step 2: Next, go to Selling and then Your Listings.

Step 3: Click on the three horizontal dots next to the listing that you want to hide from your friends.

Step 4: Select Edit listing.

Step 5: Toggle on the option Hide from friends and you are done.

Do Your Friends Get Notified When You Post On The Marketplace?

Your friends will not be notified when you have listed a new item in your Facebook marketplace.

However, they can go to the Facebook marketplace and check it out if the item is still listed.

How To See What Friends Are Selling On Facebook Marketplace?

Facebook Marketplace listings do not appear on a user’s personal profile. However, you can find your friends’ listings by searching for them on the Marketplace or visiting their Marketplace/commerce profile.

You can easily view what your friends are selling by checking out their commerce profiles.

To do that just follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Your Facebook.

Step 2: Tap on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right after you open Facebook.

Step 3: Tap See more,  then navigate to Marketplace and tap on it.

Step 4: You can now choose the item that you want to buy and tap on the Seller’s name to visit their profile.

Note: If you want to find your friends in the Marketplace then you have to enable the location and then search in the Marketplace for your friend.

However, this only works if they live near you and you know what type of things they are selling.

There is no other option through which you can find your friends in the Marketplace.

But their listing will be there on Facebook Marketplace if they have listed a product to sell and you can find them.
