Why Is PayPal App Not Working?

  • You haven’t cleared the app cache 
  • Your Wi-Fi or mobile data is not working properly

How To Fix “PayPal App Not Working”?

Fix 1: Wait For Sometime Until PayPal Fix The Bug

If PayPal is not working then high chances that there are some bug or glitch in PayPal App or PayPal app server is down and PayPal team already know and is working to resolve the issue. 

In this case, you can’t do anything so just wait till bug is resolved from PayPal team side or PayPal server is up.

Fix 2: Try Alternating Between Wi-Fi And Mobile Data

Try alternating between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if PayPal app issue is related to your connection. If your experience differs, we recommend you reach out to your service provider for more info.

So, check your internet speed. Turn ON and OFF your mobile data or check router in case you using wifi.

Also, try to switch from mobile network to wifi or wifi to mobile network.

Fix 3: Log Out And Login Into PayPal App

To Fix PayPal App issue, first logout from the app and then again login into the app. This Will fix the issue and PayPal App will work fine.

If still PayPal app not working then try out other fixes.

Fix 4: Clear PayPal App Cache

Most of time, when there is some issue with PayPal app, clearing the app cache will resolve the issue. 

So, To fix the PayPal app issue, clear PayPal app cache. To clear the PayPal App cache,

For Android users, Go to settings >> Find PayPal App and click on that >> Tap on clear cache. PayPal App cache will be cleared.

For iPhone users, Go to iPhone settings >> Go to General >> Find PayPal App and click on that >> Tap on iPhone Storage >>  Tap on Offload App button >> Again Reinstall PayPal app.

Note: Available screens, settings or steps for clearing cache may vary by software version, and phone model. 

Fix 5: Delete And Reinstall PayPal App

To Fix PayPal app issue, first delete and then reinstall the PayPal app. Sometime Uninstalling and Reinstalling the PayPal app will resolve the issue. 

So, First Uninstall the app from your phone after that re install again and check PayPal app is working or not. 

If still PayPal app not working then try other fixes.

Fix 6: Install The Old Version Of PayPal App

To Fix PayPal app not working , you can install the old version of PayPal app. Sometime there might be some bug in the latest version.

So, for temporary install old version till next version came after fixing the bug. But this temporary fix only work for android users not iPhone users.

Fix 7: Update PayPal App To Latest Version

To Fix PayPal app issue, update PayPal app with latest version because Sometime old version not work perfectly.

If your PayPal app version is outdated then it may not work properly. 

Also updating the PayPal app to latest version will fix all previous bug in the app which were known to PayPal support team.

Fix 8: Restart Your Device

If above solution not working then sometimes, there is an issue with your device not PayPal app. So, Close the PayPal app and restart your device.

After Restarting the device, PayPal App will work fine.
