Make that the recorder is getting electricity by checking the outlet.
Try plugging in another device, such a light, to check whether the outlet works.
Unplug the power adapter and connect the recorder directly to the wall outlet if it is attached to a surge protector, power strip, or battery backup.
This will enable us to determine if the problem is with the battery backup or the surge protector/power strip.
Make that the power switch for the recorder is switched to ON.
Night Owl Protect App Not Connecting To Device
If Night Owl Protect app is not connecting to device because you are using outdated version of app or software.
